⬅ Back
1 Give ear to my words, O Lord. pay attention to my cry. 2 Hear the voice of my cry, O my King and my God, for to You I pray. 3 Lord, in the morning You will hear my voice. In the morning I will set my prayer before You and will wait. 4 For You are not a God who approves of lawlessness. evil will not dwell with You. 5 The arrogant will not stand before Your eyes. You hate all who practice lawlessness. 6 You will destroy those who speak lies. The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. 7 But I, by Your great mercy, will enter Your house, and I will worship in Your holy temple with fear of You. 8 Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my enemies. Make Your way straight before me. 9 For there is no truth in their mouth. their inward part is evil. Their throat is an open grave. with their tongue they practice deceit. 10 Condemn them, O God. Let them fall by their own counsels. Because of their many transgressions, drive them away, for they rebelled against You. 11 But let all who trust in You rejoice. Let them exult forever, because You protect them. Let those who love Your name rejoice in You. 12 For You will bless the righteous, O Lord. with Your favor You will surround him like a shield.
