The “Bible in Light” online platform was created with the aim of making the reading of Holy Scripture more accessible, structured, and easier to understand. The website brings together the biblical text and its commentaries, giving the reader the opportunity to study the meaning of each verse in a consistent manner, understand its context, and reflect on its spiritual message. The aim of the project is not only to convey information, but also to encourage personal reflection and the deepening of faith.
The commentaries presented on the website were formed on the basis of the study of classical Christian commentaries. The works of Matthew Henry, John Gill, Albert Barnes, Augustine of Hippo, and Charles Spurgeon have been used as the main historical and theological sources. Within the framework of Armenian Church tradition, the theological approaches of Maghakia Ormanian, Nerses Lambronatsi, and Hovhannes Odzunetsi have also been included in the broader doctrinal context.
During the systematization of the materials, linguistic refinement, and structural formation, modern digital tools were used, including artificial intelligence–assisted resources. The final content underwent editorial review with the aim of ensuring historical accuracy, doctrinal balance, and literary clarity.
The website is being expanded gradually with books, chapters, and commentaries from both the New and Old Testaments. The aim is to form a complete, accessible, and continually developing digital biblical platform.
