A psalm of David, when he was fleeing from his son Absalom.
⬅ Back
1
Lord, how many my enemies have increased. many have risen up against me.
2
Many were saying about me, “For this one there is no salvation in his God.”
3
But You, O Lord, are my refuge, my glory, and the One who lifts up my head.
4
With my voice I cried out to the Lord, and He answered me from His holy mountain.
5
I lay down and slept, and I woke up, because the Lord is keeping me.
6
I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have lain down all around me.
7
Rise up, Lord, save me, O my God, for You strike the jaw of all my enemies and shatter the teeth of the wicked.
8
Salvation is from the Lord. Let Your blessing be upon Your people.
