And when they had put the people outside, Jesus went in, took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
In this passage, Jesus enters to the dead girl after sending the people outside. Simply by taking the girl’s hand, Jesus raises her, and she immediately gets up. This action shows Jesus’ divine power over life and death. His touch, filled with divine authority, immediately restores the girl’s life. Jesus’ miracles again confirm that, with Him, even death is temporary, and for believers there is always hope and salvation.
