And He got into the boat, crossed over to the other side, and came to His own city.
This passage describes how Jesus gets into the boat and goes to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, returning to His city, which is called Capernaum. During Jesus’ ministry, Capernaum was often called His “city,” because He spent much time there. This movement is often seen as the beginning of the miracles and healings that He performs in that region.
