Matthew 6:32

For the Gentiles seek all these things, but your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

In this passage Jesus points out that worrying about material things is characteristic of people who do not know God (in this case, the Gentiles). The purpose of their life is limited only to satisfying material needs, because they do not perceive God as their provider. Jesus teaches that for believers everything is different: they know that their Heavenly Father already knows their needs. This is a call to place one’s hope in God and not to focus on material things, unlike those who live only with worldly concerns. This word encourages people to rely on God’s care, understanding that He is always aware of our needs and will provide us with everything necessary.
