Now which of you, by worrying, can add one more cubit to his height?
In this passage Jesus reminds us that worrying does not change anything in our life. Here He asks whether anyone can, by his anxieties, change his physical condition, for example, add to his height. This question shows that living with worries is pointless, because they do not bring any practical result. This word also shows that we should accept our limitations and entrust the solutions to our problems to God. By worrying we not only do not improve the situation, but also increase our burdens, wasting time. From this word it follows that we should focus on spiritual life, trusting in God’s guidance.
