You will hear the sounds of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for all these things must happen, but it is not yet the end.
Jesus warns that throughout human history wars and reports of wars will be unavoidable. He teaches not to be anxious or terrified, because these events do not mean the end of the world, but are simply part of its course. Wars, which bring distress and loss, are not yet a sign of the final judgment. Christ teaches believers to keep inner peace even when the world is full of fears and turmoil.
