Matthew 24:47

Truly I tell you, he will appoint him over all his possessions.

With these words Jesus explains the reward of faithfulness, showing that the Lord not only praises the faithful servant, but also raises him to a higher level of trust and glory. “He will set him over all his possessions” means that He will give him authority and a share in His kingdom. This symbolizes the faithful ones’ participation in God’s glory and authority, which Paul also says: “If we endure, we will also reign with Him” (2 Tim. 2:12). This word confirms the divine principle that the one who shows faithfulness in small things is entrusted by the Lord with greater things. The believer’s faithful service on earth prepares him for the heavenly reward, where what is given is not material possessions, but spiritual authority and everlasting glory.
