In this verse as well, the master of the house continues to act with the same zeal. At different hours of the day—around 12:00 (the sixth hour) and 15:00 (the ninth hour)—he goes out again and calls laborers. This shows the patience of God’s call and his extended mercy: he does not stop giving people an opportunity, regardless of the hour or the stage of life.
