Matthew 14:34

And when they had crossed to the other side of the lake, they came to the region of Gennesaret.

This verse is short, yet deeply significant. Jesus and the disciples finally cross to the other side of the lake and arrive in the region of Gennesaret, on the western shore of Galilee. This crossing is not only a physical journey, but also a new stage of ministry. After the storm and the testing of faith, they come to a place where they must again meet people with their illnesses and needs. Jesus shows that trial does not stop the mission. Passing through the storm is not the end of rest, but the beginning of new service. On the Lord’s path, trial and service are inseparable, and every difficulty that is overcome opens a new opportunity to serve people with love and power.
