In this way an important spiritual truth is revealed: a person can be in God’s will and at the same time encounter difficulties. The storm does not mean that the Lord is absent, but that faith is being put to the test. This trial is intended not for destruction, but for the strengthening of faith and the deepening of trust, which will be revealed during the events that follow.
