Mark 5:33

And the woman, fearing and trembling because of what she had done in secret—for she knew what had happened to her—came and fell before Him and told Him everything exactly.

The woman comes in fear and trembling, because she senses that she is standing not only before a healer, but before the holy Lord. Her fear was also connected with her condition, because according to the Law she was considered unclean. After Jesus asks, the woman understands that she cannot remain hidden. Nevertheless, fear does not drive her away, for she comes, falls before Him, and tells the whole truth. This is a beautiful picture of the soul that opens itself before God without masks. True faith, in the end, confesses the truth. As the commentators note, she was now not only healed bodily, but also called to acknowledge publicly that her salvation is entirely from Christ. This confession also frees her from shame, because she was no longer a hidden sick woman, but an openly graced witness.
