Mark 14:35

Then going a little farther, He fell face down on the ground and was praying that, if it were possible, that hour might pass away from Him.

Christ withdraws a little and falls facedown on the ground, expressing deep humility and spiritual heaviness. He prays that, if possible, that hour might pass from Him. This shows the true feeling of His human nature as He stands before suffering, death, and especially the cup of judgment for sin. Yet this prayer is never rebellion against the Father’s will. Christ lays His pain open before the Father and at the same time remains in perfect obedience. In Gethsemane we see the Savior’s holy humanity, without sin and yet in the depth of real suffering.
