Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Greetings to you.” And they came up, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
This verse describes the first meeting after the resurrection between the living Jesus and the faithful women. “Greetings to you” was not only a good wish, but a divine confirmation that peace has now been restored. The women, seeing the Lord, fall before His feet and worship, recognizing Him not merely as a Teacher, but as the risen Lord. This act of theirs expresses love, faith, and obedience—the human spiritual response before the glory of God.
