Matthew 13:30

Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers: First gather the weeds and tie them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”».

In this saying Jesus explains that God allows good and evil to exist together until the day of judgment. The harvest symbolizes the end of the world, and the reapers are God’s angels, who will carry out the final judgment. The weeds, the evil ones, will in the end be removed and destroyed, while the wheat, God’s people, will be kept in His kingdom. This saying emphasizes that God’s justice is fulfilled in its proper time, and that people should not rush to pass judgment, but should trust God’s plan. This parable also encourages us that in the end good will prevail and God’s justice will certainly be accomplished.
