Matthew 10:25

It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and for the servant to be like his lord. If they called the master of the house “Beelzebul,” how much more will they call the members of his household.

Jesus urges the disciples to accept that, on the path of following Him, it is enough for them to be like Him in sufferings and persecutions. In other words, if Jesus (the “master of the house”) was insulted and called “Beelzebul,” being associated with evil spirits, then His disciples also may be insulted and may likewise be subjected to the same kinds of insults and accusations. This is an encouragement to the disciples to endure hardships with patience, being confident that they are walking on the true path.
