Mark 7:32

And they brought to Him a deaf and mute man, and they begged Him to lay His hand on him.

People again bring one in need to Christ. This is a work of love and also a testimony of faith. The deaf and mute man was in double isolation: he could not hear and could express himself only with difficulty. Human communication was impaired for him. People were pleading that Jesus would lay His hand on him, because they already knew that His touch brings healing. This verse reminds us that loving people often become the bridge by which the weak come to the Savior. It also teaches that even the difficulties that cut a person off from society and seem closed and insurmountable are open before Christ, because His power reaches where human possibilities have come to an end.
