And again He went out by the lakeshore, and all the people were coming to Him, and He was teaching them.
This verse again emphasizes that the core of Christ’s ministry was teaching. Although He worked miracles, when the people came to Him, He taught them. This shows that the change of a person’s heart comes through the word of God. The lakeshore here becomes an open and accessible place where many could come near. Christ’s ministry was not limited only to synagogues or enclosed spaces; He brought the truth to where the people were. In the same way, the Gospel is called to be proclaimed everywhere people are, because God’s truth is meant to enlighten people’s lives, regardless of location.
