Mark 11:5

And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing? Why are you untying that donkey?”

This question was natural from a human point of view. The disciples were untying an animal that belonged to someone else, and those present wanted to understand the reason. Yet in this small question it is also seen that the Lord’s work sometimes meets simple human inquiries and examination. Christ’s ministry is not carried out in confusion or by secret seizure, but openly and with divine authority. The disciples had to answer just as the Lord had commanded. This shows that in ministry a person’s security is not in his own explanations, but in remaining faithful to the Lord’s word.
